CM Punjab Bewa Sahara Card | Register Widow Support Program
The CM Punjab Bewa Sahara Card – 2025 is good initiative launched by the Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz. The goal of this Widow Supporting Program across the province is to help them (Bewa) financially. This scheme aims to ease their financial burden and ensure they live with dignity and security.

Under this program, eligible widows will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 10,000. It ensures that help reaches to the Bewa those who are above 45 years of age and lack a stable source of income for their basic needs such as food, healthcare, and shelter.
Eligibility Criteria for CM Punjab Bewa Sahara Card
The CM Punjab Bewa Sahara Program has set clear eligibility criteria. Women applying for the program must meet the following five (05) conditions:
- The applicant must be a widow with facing financial hardship.
- She should be at least 45 years of age or older; aged and elderly widows will be given priority.
- The beneficiary must be financially weak or poor, with no stable source of income.
- Only those who are residents of Punjab and hold permanent residency in the province are eligible.
- The applicant must have a valid and active bank account for receiving the monthly stipend directly.

Registration Process for Widow Stipend Program
Bewa Sahara Portal is accessible to all eligible widows. The government has introduced two convenient registration methods;
1. Visit Office – In-Person Registration
- Visit the nearest Zakat Office or Social Welfare Office in your area.
- Collect the registration form from the office staff.
- Fill out the form carefully with the required details:
- Name
- CNIC number
- Mobile number
- Home address
- Death certificate of your husband
After filling in the details, submit the completed form back to the office. This method is especially helpful for those who prefer in-person assistance or do not have easy access to digital tools.
2. Apply Online for Monthly Aid
The government has also enabled a digital registration process with 5 easy steps:
- Visit the official website: www.punjab.gov.pk
- Download the registration form available on the site.
- Fill in the required details on the form accurately.
- Get a printed copy of the completed form.
- Submit the printed form to the nearest Zakat Office or Social Welfare Office for processing.
Verification Process of Application
Once the registration form is submitted, the CM Punjab Bewa Sahara Program moves to a thorough verification process. This process is carried out in three key steps:
- Document verification: First, all submitted documents—including the death certificate, CNIC, and proof of residency—are carefully checked for accuracy and authenticity by the relevant authorities. This step confirms that the applicant meets the eligibility criteria.
- Home Assessment: Next, a representative from the Social Welfare or Zakat department may conduct a home visit. This helps the team assess the applicant’s living conditions and financial situation.
- Approval Stage: If everything is verified successfully, the application is approved. The applicant will then receive a confirmation message on her registered mobile number.
Why I Am not Eligible for Bewa Sehara?
- Wrong information: Incorrect personal or document details can lead to rejection.
- Incomplete documents: Missing required paperwork, such as the husband’s death certificate or CNIC, can disqualify your application.
- Transferred mobile number: If the provided mobile number is inactive or transferred, you may not receive important verification messages.
- Submission After deadline: Applications submitted after the official registration deadline will not be considered.
